Getting There

For those not staying at the conference centre, there are a range of public transport options.

Going By Bus

Brisbane public transport (translink) has a website for its Journey Planner.

There is a bus numbered '375' that goes all the way to the conference centre that leaves every 15 minutes during the day. The journey from Brisbane City takes approximately 30 minutes. Its timetable is available in PDF form.

If only travelling by public transport the days of the conference (3 days) the most economical option is to buy a paper ticket from the bus driver, "An adult daily ticket to Bardon" will cost $5.80 and provide unlimited trips to and from the city for the day.

The last bus from the conference centre leaves at 11:10 PM.

Going By Taxi

A taxi hailed in the City taken to the Bardon Conference Center at 390 Simpsons Road should cost around $20. Share the ride with other conference delegates to save on carbon emissions. The taxi ride should be approximately 7km of road travel.

Going By Car

The address is 390 Simpsons Road, Bardon. This is at the Mt Coot-tha end of Simpsons Road. There is ample parking at the site for our conference. Parking is free all day.

Going By Train

The closest train station to the Conference Centre is Toowong Train Station, which is 5km away. Taking a taxi from this train station to the conference centre should be quite quick as it will avoid the bulk of the City traffic.
